Keep the Midlands Beautiful Needs Students
Keep the Midlands Beautiful is recruiting high schoolers for its student advisory board. The deadline for residents of Richland and Lexington counties to apply is April 17.
Sixty students will be chosen to participate in beautification, waste reduction, recycling and litter prevention activities among area high schools.
Members will be expected to work with a team on service projects September through May. After school or weekend meetings may be necessary.
